Reports of the Brokers EXPORTERS OPERATE FREELY The associated, stock brokers report as follows on the Stortford Lodge sale yesterday:— Heavy yardings of both fat and store cattle were offered to an average attendance of the public. All female cattle in the fat section showed an easing in values. The quality was probably not up to recent sales. Heavy fat cows made up to sgns. and good heifer beef up to £5; ox beef sold up to recent rates, exporters buying the bulk of the yarding. The heavy yarding of store cattle met an easier sale, but all lines sold met a ready sale at slightly reduced values. Both fat and store sheep came forward in reduced numbers. All classes of fat sheep met recent values. The store market was quite up to recent sales, and in the case of hoggets especially met a firmer sale,
