DEATH FROM ANTHRAX

Safeguards Against Outbreak (Received 4, 1.35 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 4. Veterinary examination proved that the cause of death of a cow in the Lismore district was due to anthrax. Some cows and pigs died on a farm in the neighbourhood, which is now quarantined. Precautions are being taken to prevent spread of the disease.
