Proposal for Canadian Youth HISTORY AND MUSIC A proposal that special educational courses in such subjects as music and history be broadcast from Toronto for the benefit of public schools in outlying rural districts in Canada was laid before the Provincial Premier, Mr G. S. Henry, recently by the Teachers’ Federation, and although no decision was reached, the Premier announced that the matter was taken under consideration. The arrangement, and financing of broadcasts would be carried out by the Provincial Government and the Federal Radio Commission, with the installation of receiving sets a matter for local school boards. During the past fall experimental broadcasts along this line were well received, it was stated, according to the replies to h questionnaire sent out to teachers and trustees.
