PRISONER ESCAPES
Queensland Burglar (Received 20, 10.55 a.m.) BRISBANE, March 20. While the Appeal Court at Rockhampton was reducing the sentence of James Bates from five years to three for burglary, Bates escaped from ths local gaol. He was not recaptured last night.
