BOARD OF TRADE RETURNS
British Imports and Exports LONDON, March 14. The Board of Trade returns for February, compared with the same period last year, shows: —Imports £57,353,000, exports £30,060,000, reexports £5,209,000. The principal increases were:—lmports: Meat £779,000, wood and timber £490,000, raw cotton £1,122,000, woo) £2,435,000, iron and steel and manufactures thereof £327,000, nonferrous metals and manufactures £650,000. Exports: Beveragfes and cocoa preparations £526,000, coal £341,000, wool £241,000, nonferrous metals and manufactures £242,000, woollen worsted manufactures £347,000, vehicles £334,000. Decreases: —Imports: Tobacco £554,000, seeds and nuts for oil and oils, etc., £378,000. 'Exports: Cotton yarns and manufacturers £510,000.
