Top Prices for Week 49id FOR SCOURED (Received 16, 11.30 a.m.) BRISBANE, March 16. The top prices at the wool sales were: Greasy 22jd, scoured 49jd. The latter is the record Australian price this season. The value of wool sold during the series is estimated at over £1,000,000. QUIETER DEMAND IN LONDON (Received 16, 11.55 a.m.) LONDON, March 15. At the wool sales 10,331 bales were offered, including 5148 bales of New Zealand wool, and 4722 bales were sold. Offerings, chiefly crossbreds, met a quieter demand and withdrawals were fairly numerous, but general prices were unchanged. New Zealand: Greasy crossbred, Pakira, top 14Jd, average lOd; half bred lambs, Eclipse 17d.
