SEQUEL TO FATAL FIGHT
Acquitted of Manslaughter THE KALGOORLIE RIOTS (Received 16, 10.45 a.m.) PERTH, March 16. Claudio Mattaboni was acquitted on a charge of manslaughter of Edward Jordan, at Kalgoorlie, in a fight which led to the goldfields riots, in which two men were killed, three shot and many others injured, and damage by burning and looting totalled over <70.000. The evidence showed that Mattaboni and Jordan engaged in a fair fight, no weapons being used.
