SPORTS MEETING
To-night at Hastings ATTACK ON RECORDS The Hastings Amateur Athletic anil Cycling Club has chosen a wise course in keeping its club championships meeting as the final gathering for the season that has been a record success. This evening, commencing at 7.30 o’clock at Nelson Park, there will be a series of championship events which promise to provide sport of the highest standard. There are competitors whose performances place them among the best in the Dominion, and they will be out to register new records for the province. Apart from the championship events, which cover all branches of the sport, there will be a number of handicap events, and these have attracted competitors Iron; kindred clubs in the district. Altogether the programme is a very fine one and should attract a large attendance.
