Red Sun’s Thompson Handicap rider will be GDuncan. Epigram was matched with Lordly Knight over six furlongs, and he loft his companion in tho final furlong to win with the utmost ease by four lengths in 1.16, the last half-mile m 51 2-ssecs. Epigram’s Thompson Handicap rider will be W. J. Broughton, as K. Voitre is required for Red Manfred. Te Ua, who looks improved with his last week’s race, traversed seven furlongs well within himself in 1.32. Palm Queen drew away in the straight to beat Melisande and Cape Fair easily over a mile in 1.46), the last half-mile in 53secs.
