HIGH TEMPERATURES
Heat Wave in Australia (Received 13, 11.45 a m.) SYDNEY, March 13. The heat wave continues, though slight rain has fallen in the city area,. High temperatures prevail inland, western districts reporting over 100 degrees for the sixth consecutive day. At Melbourne yesterday the temperature reached 100 degrees, the tenth successive century registration, while Adelaide reached 104.3 degrees, and over 90 at 9 o’clock last night. Bush fire losses in South Australia are estimated at £lOO,OOO.
