LIGHT FOR LHASA
British Electric Plant TRANSPORT DIFFICULTIES (Received 13, 12.15 p.m.) CALCUTTA, March 12. Lhasa is to be provided with electric light equipment ordered from England, but the difficulties of transporting it over the mountains are a problem. Porters have to carry all the parts over 17,000 feet passes.
