A CHILDREN’S PARTY
On Saturday last Mrs Freeman gave a very bright little party at her parents’ residence for her young son, John, inviting a number of his friends. All kinds of games and competitions were heartily enjoyed, prizes being awarded to the successful competitors, and as there was a clever conjuror to mystify them, the young guests had a really delightful time. The house was charmingly decorated with masses of sweet pink roses, pink belladona lilies and pink asters. A very delicious tea was dispensed, and much appreciated. Those present were: Marjorie Mathie son, Annette Tonkin, David and Valerio Conimin, Peter and Dorothy Douglas, Joy O’Meara, Beth and Lola Lloyd, Audrey Hildreth, Janet Fox, Doricc Harding, Bill and Joan Taaffe, Mary and Bob Wilkins, Leonora Menzies, David Gifford, Pat, Jack and Bubs Chapman, Alan Wodd, Torn and Janet Cowper, Philipi Freeman, and Peter Miller
