All the remaining coins necessary i to complete the first cycle of the | Dominion’s own silver coinage are now on the water on their way to i New Zealand. The new half-crowns, florins and sixpences are already in ■ circulation, and the first of the new ' threepenny pieces on board the i Rangitane are due at Auckland \ from London to-morrow. I The consignment of threepenny ■ pieces on the Rangitane is valued at i £48,800, and of this amount £24,000 ! worth is for Auckland and the remain- [ mg £23,900 worth for Wellington. On i the Port Gisborne, which is due in the [ Dominion towards the end of the month, I there are £16,000 worth of threepenny pieces, there being £BOOO worth each for I Christchurch and Dunedin.
