Steady Prices for Merino CONTINENTAL COMPETITION LONDON, Jan. 31. At the wool sales 10,429 hales were offered including 6065 New Zealand; about 7135 were sold. Continental competition was well sustained; Yorkshire was more reserved. Withdrawals of Crossbreds were fairly numerous. All better grades of Merinos realised steady prices.
