PROGRAMME '(To commence at 11 a.m.) ATHLETIC EVENTS: 100, 220, 440, 880 yards and 1 mile, Relay Race, Boys and Girls’ Races, and Ladies’ 75 and 100 yards. CYCLING EVENTS: 2,4, 6 and 8 Lap* (a lap approximates 560 yards). HIGHLAND EVENTS: 10 Dancing, and 1 Piping Competition. HORSE EVENTS: 8 Competitions, including: Open, Pony and Ladies’ Jumping Events, Turning, Musical Chairs and Flag Race. NOVELTY EVENTS: Cotton Winding, Sack Race and Motor Car Driving Competition.
