NEEDLEWORK awards In the needlework section of tho Manawatu Show, Miss A. R. McLean (Havelock North), was first for fancy needlework, white,, second for afternoon teacloth, and second for three handkerchiefs. Miss D. G. Wakelin (Hastings) gained first for handknitted lace, and Miss 51. McGuire (Hastings) second in the same class. Miss M. C. Spence (Wairoa) was second for gloves made from New Zealand skins.
