INTER-STATE CHAMPIONSHIP SYDNEY, November 3. The inter-State tennis championships between New South Wales and Victoria began to-day. Tho principal singles results were: H. Hopman defeated McGrath, 6/3, 4/6, 6/4; Crawford defeated Holloway, 6/1, 6/3; R. Dunlop beat Tonkin, 6/3, 6/4.
