RIFLE SHOOTING
HASTINGS MINIATURE CLUB. HIGH STANDARD ATTAINED. On Wednesday evening members of the Hastings Miniature Rifle Club fired tho first round of the final trophy match for the season. The remarkably high standard of scoring was maintained, four possibles being scored in the competition. Tho detailed scores are as follow; — A GRADE.
LADIES' CLUB. A POSSIBLE SCORED. On Tuesday evening members of the ladies’ club held a competition for a handsome trophy donated hv Mr E. A. Westerman. A remarkable performance was registered by Miss I. Lovell-Smith, who scored the first match possible since the establishment of the club. The nine members tieing with the maximum score will shoot off for the trophy next week. The shoot-off for last week’s trophy resulted in a win for Miss I. Lovell-Smith.
