IN THE MATTER of a Bill intituled “The Hawke’s Bay Rivers Amendment Act, 1933.” VOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that it is the intention of The Hawke’s Bay Rivers Board during the present Session of Parliament to promote a Bill the objects of which are as follows:— (a) To provide that Section 135 subsection (3) of “The Public Works Act, 1928” shall extend to Tutaekuri River Works as defined in the proposed Act so as to enable The Hawke’s Bay Rivers Board as to its share of the cost of the works and other local authorities and The Napier Harbour Board so far as they are respectively liable to contribute to the cost of the works to raise Loans in manner provided by the said Section 135 zub-section (3). (b) To enable The Hawke’s Bay Rivers Board and the other local authorities aforesaid and The Napier Harbour Board pending the raising of a Loan or Loans in connection with the said works to borrow on overdraft from their respective Banks. Copies of the proposed Act were this day deposited in the Magistrate’s Court, Napier, and in the Office of The Hawke’s Bay Rivers Board, Herschel! Street, Napier, in accordance with the Standing Orders of the House of Representatives and will in the said Court and Office respectively remain open for public inspection during office hours without fee for a period of three complete weeks.
