RAILWAY ACROSS PERSIA
SWEDISH CROUP SECURES CONTRACT. FIVE YEARS TO BUILD. (Received 18, 12.30 p.m.) STAMBUL, Aug. 17. A Swedish group secured the contract to construct a 1000-mile railway across Persia from the Caspian Sea to the Gulf of Basra.. It wil Itake five years to build.
