Charged at the Wellington Magistrate’s Court, before Mr E. Page, 8.M., with assaulting Annabella Reed so as to cause her actual bodily harm, George Victor Reed, aged 38, motor driver, was remanded till Wednesday. Sub-Inspec-tor Martin said that the accused was arrested on Wednesday. He apparently assaulted his wife with a razor, not very seriously, fortunately. She was ■lightly wounded on the back and neck. She was taken from Mount Cook police station to hospital, and later allowed to ;o home.—Press Association.
