WAIPUKURAU HORSE FAIR
BROKERS’ REPORTS. The associated brokers held a very successful < orse sale at Waipukurau yesterday. -'here was a large attendance of buyers and bidding was very busk. The yarding of draught horses was of extra good quality. Hacks were forward in good numbers, but were of very poor quality. The following is the range of prices: ■—Draughts iron £2B to £45 (the latter
price was obtained for a 4-year-old mare bred by and on account of Mr H. G. Dalby, Porangahau, and for a 5-year-old gelding on account of Mr R. A. Kyle, Waipukurau); 1 rising 4-yr. gelding (bred by and on account of Mr J. W. Harding, Mt. Vernon) £44, 1 at £36; hacks, from £2 to £ll 15/-.
