CHALLENGE CUPS AWARDED. (Received 9, 10.40 a.m.) LONDON, June 8. The Imperial Fruit Show challenge cups were awarded as follows:— Best Australian exhibit: George Simpson, West Australia (Granny Smiths). Best Tasmanian: W. and H. Calvert (Cleopatras). Best New Zealand: E. H. Turner, Otago) (Jonathans). Other first awards were secured by the Calverts (Stumers), Simpson (Dunn’s Seedlings), Ulawarry Orchard, Ltd. (Dohertys), the Calverts (Democrats).
