HANDING OVER OF DISTRICT , SHIELD. CEREMONY TO-MORROW. A rink from Bluff Hill (last year s winners of the District Shield) will visit the Hastings Club to-morrow afternoon, accompanied by the president of the Centre (Mr. H. Mayo) and an executive rink, to hand over the shield to the Hastings Club, the winners of the shield this season. Four rinks from tho Napier Club will also visit Kia Toa to-morrow. The launch Doris, whose last journey was made on the fateful night of December 28, 1932, entered the water yesterday morning.
