TORNADO IN AMERICA
THIRTY KNOWN DEAD. MILLION DOLLARS DAMAGE. (Received 16, 10.30 a.m.) Nashville (Tennessee), March 15. A “mad March” tornado lashed the Tennessee and Kentucky border from the Mississippi to Cumberlands last night, leaving 30 known dead, more than 200 injured and a million dollars damage. At least eight were killed in Nashville. DEATHS NOW 36. (Received 16, 12.30 p.m.) Nashville (Tennessee), March 15. The total deaths reported have now reached 36; 260 were injured.
