CUP TO BELL O’ MINE. PRESIDENT’S TO ULM. Palmerston North, March 15. The Manawatu Trotting Club’s annual meeting was held at the Ashhurst racecourse in fine weather. The attendance was large and the course was in good order. Tho totalisator handled £4493 10/-, compared with £3939 10/-, an increase of £554. Late results:—

Dash Handicap. — 2/2 Smooger (Smith) 1, 1/1 Edna Worthy (Moran) 2, 4/4 Golden Oaks (Pringle) 3. Also ran: 5/5 Electric Gold, 6/6 Franz Gana, 3/3 Mr Guy. Won by a length and a quarter, third back a dozen lengths. Time, 2.14 2-5. Manawatu Cup.—s/5 Bello o’ Mine (Pope) 1, 1/1 Special Sun (Donald) 2, 2/2 Free Logan (Moran) 3. Also ran: 7/7 Rector, 8/11 Mihad, 10/9 Ailsa Bingen, 6/6 Teri Kingi, 3/3 Winshow, 4/4 Eleawah, 9/8 Rangihau, 11/10 Lady Coronado. Won by five lengths, third back six lengths. Time, 4.34 1-5. Komako Handicap.—l/1 Te Mahanga (Broughton) 1, 2/2 Iron Man (Donald; 2, 5/5 Big Blaze (Pringle) 3. Also ran: 6/6 Ndherton, 8/8 King Bruce, 4/3 Summer! ..ue, 3/4 Storm Queen, 7/7 Tui Coronado. McDonald Handicap.—2/1 Sphinx (Mackie) 1, 1/2 Autumn Lu (Stubbs) 2, 5/5 Billy Bingen (Hughes) 3. Also ran: 6/6 Scrip, 4/4 Aerial Boy, 3/3 Nelson’s Request. Won by four lengths, third back 100 yards. Time, 4.48.

Pohangina Handicap. -—2 Hemlock Hero (Nyhan) 1, 1 Edna Worthy (Moran) 2, 3 Golden Oaks (Pringle) 3. Also ran: 4 Electric Gold. Won by a length and a half, third back three lengths. Time, 3.32.
