BIBBY—SMUTS-KENNED Y. Tho marriage was solemnised quietly at St. Barnabas’ Church, Roscneath, of Lorna Winifred Smuts-Kcnnedy, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs F. A. Smpts-Kenncdy. late of South Africa, to Erewcra Godfrey (Tui) Bibby, elder son of Mr and Mrs Jack Bibby, “Lunesdale, ” Ongaonga, Hawke’s Bay. The ceremony was performed by the Ven. Archdeacon Innes-Jones. The bride was attended by her cousin, Miss Joan Kennedy, and the bridegroom by his cousin. Mr Jack White. Among those present were Mrs F. C. Smuts-Kcnnedy and Miss Zoe SmutsKennedy, mother and sister of the bride respectively; Miss Mary Bibby,

sister of the bridegroom; Miss White, cousin; Miss Green; Mr Allen Bibby, brother of the bridegroom; Mr A. E. Sinuts-Kennedy, brother of the bride; mid Messrs Bruce Bibby, E. W. Evans, Carston, Stevens, Whitworth ami McArthur. The guests were entertained at the home of the bride’s parents and afterward at luncheon at the Empire Hotel. Mr and Mrs E. G. Bibby left later by car for the north.
