COMING-OF-AGE PARTY
FOR MISS E. HICKEY. A very happy gathering of friends and relations was held at the home of Mr and Mrs Tom Hickey on Thursday evening to celebrate the coining-of-age of Mr and Mrs Hickey’s second daughter, Eileen. After games and dancing the guests gathered round the supper table to wish Miss Hickey the best of good luck. A delicious cake, on which were placed 21 candles and a gold key, was then cut. and Miss Hickey was presented with a gold key brooch from her parents. Other pretty gifts were also received.
Those present were: Mr and Mrs Hickey and Master Tom Hickey. Mrs and Miss Jensen, Mr and Mrs C. Jensen, Miss V. Humphries and Master F. Humphries, Misses, W. Murray, M. Williams, C. Barnes, E. do Frerc, Messrs Colin and Charles Kirkpatrick, Colin Kirkpatrick junr., AV. Large, W. Coombes, and G. McKinnic.
