Tobin (C.M.S.), of Kiveilin, Kwangsi, China, the missionary who was captured by bandits, is expected to arrive in New Zealand on furlough next June or July. • • • Miss Humphries, of Oainaru, who has been staying in Hawke’s Bay, left on Friday for Wellington. # Mrs. McNeill, of Hastings, is staying for a time with relatives in Puketitiri.
Mrs. Tanner, of Wellington, who has been for a motor, tour of the north with her sister. Mrs. W. B. Nichol, and Mr. Nichol, of Hastings, returned south to-day after spending a few days in this town.
