NEXT EMPIRE GAMES. (Received 11, 10.30 a.m.) London, March 10. The Empire Games Federation has arranged that the second Empire Games will be in London in 1934, lasting ten days and embracing track and field events, boxing, swimming, cycling, and wrestling. Women will compete in swimming and some track events. NEW ZEALAND MEETING. MORNING RESULTS. By Telegraph—Press Association Christchurch, Mar. 11. The New Zealand athletic championship meeting was continued to-day in fine weather before a large aten dance. Results:— Half Mile Cycle Championship.— First heat: F. J. Grose 1, R. Ulmer 2, 11. R.
