Captain Offermann, in charge of th* Customs House at Kehl bridge, aud 500 Storm Troops occupied a station and disused barracks on the right bank of the Rhine opposite Strasburg, and hoisted the Swastika, The incident is regarded as scrioua, because Kehl is within the demilitarised zone of the Rhineland.
