VENOMOUS BEES
MAN STUNG TO DEATH. Invercargill, March 8. “It is apparent that if these bees have been imported and are fierce and venomous when aroused, adults and children should be advised not to take risks in molesting bees and risking stings,” said the coroner, Mr E. C. Dewey, S.M., in returning’ a verdict of death, attributable to bee stings, at an 'nquest to-dav on John Maher, aged 67, whose death occurred on February 22 after a bee sting.
