WAIPAWA NEWS
From Our Own Correspondent. The Hawke’s Bay division of the Girl Guides, went into camp yesterday at Waipawa. Miss McHardy, commissioner and Miss Bibby, captain, are in charge. The funeral of the late Mrs Bott took place on Wednesday afternoon and was largely attended. The deceased lady, who was of a beautiful Christian character, was loved and respected by all who knew her. Services were conducted in the Methodist Church, and at the graveside hy the Rev. H. Dyson, assisted by the Rev. W. Hooper, of Johnsonville. The late Mrs Bott leaves a family of four sons and four daughters to mourn their loss.
