TWO BRILLIANT PERFORMANCES HAROLD LOGAN & INDIANOPOLIS Wellington, Oct. 29. The October meeting of the Wellington Trotting Club was held at Hutt Park to-day in fine overcast weather. The attendance was large and the track in first class order. Two brilliant performances during the day were registered by HaroM Logan and Indianopolis. The totalisator handled £11,490 15/-. against £16,860 for the corresponding meeting last year. Late results October Handicap.— 4 Arabond (Pringle) 1, Nelson’s Victory (Hooper) 22 Sir Guy (Donald) 3. King Pointer led early, but Logan’s Pride soon took charge from King Pointer and Glenrossie, with Harold Logan and Red Shadow early in good positions. Impromptu and Carmel began slowly. Glenrossie went to the front half a mite from home and led into the straight from King Pointer, but Harold Logan came brilliantly to win casing up by two lengths. Red Shadow finisned on to cut out King Pointer by half a neck. Glenrossie was three lengths back fourth. The others were well beaten.
