SPRING MEETING CONCLUDED CHIEF EVENT TO MERBY DAMON Gisborne, Oct. 29. The Poverty Bay Turf Club’s spring meeting was brought to a conclusion to-day in fine but dull weather. The going was good. The tote investments were £4274, against £4995 on th: second day last year, the total for the meeting being £7938 10/-, compared with £8949 10/- last year, a decrease of £lOll.
