Prisoners Sentenced. Prisoners were sentenced as follows in the Supreme Court at Wellington by Mr Justice MacGregor: George Frederick Murphy, breaking, entering and theft and receiving, two years’ hard labour; George Ngarimu, assault, 12 months’ hard labour, followed by two years’ reformative detention; Clarence Frank Ross, breaking, entering and theft and vagrancy, two years’ and one year's imprisonment respectively, to be concurrent; Albert Henry O’Malley, uttering a counterfeit coin, six months’ imprisonment; Thomas Fearon, receiving, two years’ imprisonment; Chester Lincoln Nazelrod, receiving, two years’ imprisonment; Alexanda Herd, breaking, entering and theft, 18 months’ imprisonment; John George Furey, receiving, two years’ imprisonment, to be concurrent with the sentence he is at present serving.—Press Association.
