FROZEN MEAT
81-MONTHLY SHIPMENTS. The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board is advised by cable from its London office that the shipments from Australia and South America to the United Kingdom during the first half of October were as follows:— Australia: Carcases mutton 39,844, carcases lamb 363,225, quarters beef 29,340. South America: Carcases mutton 7332, carcases lamb 105,255, quarters beef (frozen). 50, quarters beef (chilled) 168,020. The shipmetns from New Zealand to the United Kingdom for the same period were as follows:—Carcases mutton 86,292, carcases lamb 81,286, quarters beef 8779. The shipments from South America to the Continent of Europe during the same period were as follows:—Mutton nil, frozen beef nil.
