Through the generosity of the trustees of the Methodist Churches at Pitt street, Auckland, and Taranaki street, Wellington, the Trinity Methodist College, Auckland, has acquired for its library a very fine collection of between 400 and 500 volumes relating to N .w Zealand built up over many years by the late Rev. Wißliam Baumber. Mr Baumber, who died in Christchurch on September 8, aged 79, was an ox-presi-dent of the New Zealand Methodist Conference.
