League of Nations Finance. \ The committee, at Mr W. H. Hughes ’ instigation, referred the Budget back to the supervisory committee with instructions to effect economies. Despite Sir Hilton Young’s, Sir Thomas Wilford’s and Mr Hambro’s pleas immediately to abolish the League’s offices in London, Paris, Berlin and Rome, the committee has decided that the supervisory committee report thereon in 1933.
