FLIERS WEDDED

MR MOLLISON & MISS JOHNSON ADMIRERS MOB THE COUPLE London, July 29. Mr Mollison and Miss Amy Johnson were married at Saint George's, Hanover Square. Kathleen, Countesg of Drogheda, a pioneer airwoman, gave the bride away. Lieut-Colonel Francis Shelmerdine, formerly Director of Aviation in India, was best man. Mr Mollison wore a grey lounge suit and Miss Johnson was simply dressed in black.

A great crowd of admirers mobbed the eouple on leaving the church. Miss Johnson’s parents arrived too late for the wedding. Mrs Mollison says that she and her husband are determined that neither will interfere with the other’s flying plans. Mr Mollison, when he returns from hi s Atlantic flight, will fly with Mrs Mollison by slow stages to Australia.
