Town Hall for Napier.

The building of a public hall on the site of the former Napier Municipal Theatre is receiving the attention of a committee comprising Mr W. E. Barnard, M.P., representatives of the Napier Reconstruction Committee and some members of the Stable Money League, who are collaborating with a view to devising ways and means of obtaining the necessary sum of money. Details of the proposed building have not yet been finalised, but it is thought that a hall, costing £4OOO or £5OOO, might be erected, the existing foundations and walls of the ruined theatre being utilised.
