NURMI’S ENTRY REJECTED. Los Angeles, July 28. The International Amateur Athletic Federation late on Thursday voted to bar Pavo Nurmi, of Finland, from the Olympic Games and rejected his entry. The question of declaring Nurmi a professional did not enter into the action. The commission merely rejected his entry on what it considered good and sufficient grounds, and closed the case.
