A cable received to-day from the Commercial Banking Company of Sydney, Ltd., stated that a dividend had been declared at the rate of 5 per cent, per annum for the past half-year, payable at Sydney to-day.

ELDER, SMITH AND CO. FINAL DIVIDEND DECLARED Wellington, July 29. A cable received ro-dav from Elder, Smith and Company, Ltd., states that a final dividend at the rate of four per cent, per annum for the half-year ended June 30, making a total dividend of four per cent for the year, had been declared yesterday, payable on September 1 next.
