AIR-MINDED ATHLETES
It cannot be said of young men who engage in Australian sport that they are deficient in daring or lag behind tho times in availing themselves of the most modern means of transport. Recently the Lismore (N.S.W.) hockey team flew to and from Toowoomba for the purpose of engaging in a match, which they lost by 3 to nil. This was in emulation of Lismore bowlers, who recently travelled in a similar manner to Ipswich and back. The bowlers were the first team of sportsmen to journey by air in Queensland. Apparently their example has been contagious.
