There has been little change during the past month in the condition of the steamer Kapongn, wrecked at the entrance to the Grey river. The sea has been fairly calm The coal is still in the holds, which saves the ship from being pounded by the swell, although there are some vents in the plates on both sides. The docking has begun to crack and twist. With the exception of the winches and some running gear, very little is to be seen about the decks, most of the movable gear having been washed away.
