SUNDAY CONCERT

RADIO SINGER TO APPEAR. • BIG ATTENDANCE WANTED. Those in charge of the Sunday evening unemployment concerts are anxious to supply the public with good entertainment by really first-class performers. This “star” next Sunday will be Mr. Sutherland, manager of the Auckland Rugby team on a visit here, whose voice is well known “en the air” from IYA. Many other performers will appear, details of whom will appear to-morrow. The committee are anxious to beat their record this Sunday in the matter of collection, and it is hoped that the response will be generous. Those who book a seat at Denton-Wyatt’s are not expected to make a donation at the theatre. The Auckland Rugby team will be present at the concert, and it is expected that the Mayor also will attend.
