New Ward* at Hospital. Accommodation for patients at tl Napier Hospital is shortly to be i> creased by the erection of three add tional wards, each of which will be all to take in 40 patients. The prepara tion of plans has been in the hands o the Associated Architects of Napiei and tenders are proposed to be caller in about two weeks. The reconstruc tion of the administration and kitchen block is now well in hand, this work involving the strengthening of the en tire block with reinforced concrete foundations and pillars. The block is hoped to be completed by the middle of tieptember.
