They can show their gratitude to the Sunshine Association for what they did for the earthi quake stricken children of Hawke’s Bay, by contributing according to their desire and means to the Special Fund inaugurated by the Mayor of Hastings for this purpose. NO CONTRIBUTION TOO SMALL, NONE TOO BIG. Every five shillings given permits a stay of a needy child on the Island for one week. All , who contribute £1 become members of the Sunshine Family, for each £1 assists to maintain a child , , at Motuihi for one month. Contributions can be placed in the collection boxes now displayed in various shops and offices in Hastings, or be sent direct to the Mayor or the offices of the “H.B. Tribune” and “H.B. Herald.” On Saturday next. July 9, the day of the closing of the appeal, the nurses have generously offered to take charge of collection tables at points in the main streets of Hastings.
