McCutcheon (Kiwi) and Stitt (Diamond R). Dannevirke, Goal: 0. Vince. Full backs: A.* Hewitt and A, Bennett. Ha’,-es R. Berrett (vice-captain), E. A. J reman (captain), and A. H, Fox. Ft .wards: N. As a curtain-raiser the Hastings ladies meet the Tamatea ladies, and the following team has been chosen to represent Hsatings:— Goal: M. Webster (Tech. Old Girls). Full-backs: K. Forwards: Mrs. Dunn (Hastings A), Miss Potaka (Whakatu). TO-DAY’S GAMES. Competition matches were played in Hawke’s Bay this afternoon, Cornwall Park, Hastings, being the scene of six games. The results are as follow: — MEN’S GAMES. Matariki defeated Old Boys 4—2, Crawford, Collier, P. Edwards and Puriri scoring for the Maoris and Brown and Carrington for Old Boys.— Messrs Rowlands and West refereed. Scinde defeated Kahuranaki 5—3. Messrs Ford and Forsyth refereed. Y.M.P. (A) defeated Kiwi at Napier by two goafs (Te Whero and Eria) to one( McCutcheon).—Messrs S. Crook and T. Atkinson refereed. LADIES’ MATCHES. Y.M.P. defeated Whakatu 3—o. — Messrs Puriri and West refereed. Matariki defeated Awapuni 9 —o. — Mr J. Brown refereed. Kahuranaki defeated Hastings (A) 3—2.—Messrs Rowlands and Ford refereed. Waimarama defeated Technical Old Girls 2—o at Napier, A Karetu netting both goals.—Messrs S. Crook and P. Ahearn refereed.
