FERNHILL

WOMEN’S INSTITUTE DANCE. Last Friday night the Fernhill Village Hall was the scene of a most enjoyable dance, organised by the members of the Institute in aid of Red Cross funds. Tho hall, which had been decorated with coloured streamers, and greenery provided a very effective background for the many pretty frocks worn. Tlio music was supplied by Les, Henry’s orchestra, and Airs. Dudley Hill played tho supper extras. Tho dul ins of M.C. were very ably carried out by Air. .1. Garnett. Mr. and Airs, Webber wore the winners of the Monte Carlo dance, end were duly presented with the, prizes. A delicious homenilldo suppi-r had been provided by the inenibiirs iinfl was much appreciated. The coiiiiiiiltoo members who hail worked so well Io make the function such a success arc Jo be congratulated on their efforts, and the sincere thanks of tho Institute go to nil those who assisted on Iho night of the dance.
